The park features a South and a North section, on 1 acre of land and .35 acres, for large and small dogs, respectively. Keewaydin Island
Keewaydin Island, one of 10,000 beautiful Islands in Southwest Florida, Keewaydin is a significant barrier island established between Naples and Marco Island. Surrounded by eight miles of white sand, Keewaydin is only reachable by boat, and it is one of the few pet-friendly beaches in the Naples/Marco Island area. Pets must be leached, but they shouldn’t get the better of your trip. With approx. 80% of the island is undeveloped; it’s a relaxing and beautiful place to spend a day at. A "burger barge" routinely anchors onshore on the island's east side to serve ice cream, hot dogs, sandwiches, sodas, and beer.
Naples Botanical Garden
Sponsored by Harborside Animal Clinic and Sabal Palm Animal Hospital, every Sunday and Tuesday from 8am to 11am, The Naples Botanical Garden hosts ‘Dogs in the Garden’. You and your dog can visit the gardens and enjoy the canine-friendly atmosphere (except for the Children’s Garden, Kapnick Hall, Berger Shop in the Garden, and Fogg Café). This event is free to members of the garden but costs standard admission, plus $15 for dog admission- only one dog per person. All dogs must be leashed, up to date on vaccinations, and have filled out the attendance form on the Botanical Garden website. For more information on other events at the garden, check out our other post on the Top Things to do in Naples.
